Sky News host Rita Panahi says Victorians are “only learning now just how diabolical the Andrews government’s energy policy will be” for residents of the state.

“It turns out that Daniel Andrews’ signature gas policy – which will see households replace gas appliances with electric ones – it’ll cost Victorian households around $12,000,” she said.

‘World’s biggest emitter’ China to be on ‘receiving line’ of climate reparation fundThe “world’s biggest emitter” China will be on the “receiving line” of the ‘loss and damage’ fund agreed on during COP27 to provide reparations to third-world countries for climate emissions, says Sky News host Peta Credlin. “Because under the rules, the UN regards China as a developing nation, despite its economic reality,” Ms Credlin said. Cheers to COP27, show me the money! And China’s response, ( once they stopped laughing) ‘ just send us the bill’. And, they will pay £ ? Oh no they won’t! Well, I guess that answers the question - Is there any point at which western Govts will say 'that money belongs to our taxpayers, and we are not participating in a pisstake on this scale' doesn't it.

No ‘political mandate’ or ‘economic justification’ for IR bill: CredlinSky News host Peta Credlin says the trouble with the government’s industrial relations bill is there is no “political mandate” or “economic justification” for it. “Labor said nothing about this industry-wide bargaining push prior to the election. In fact, it denied it had such plans,” Ms Credlin said. “But now, it's ‘absolutely essential’ Labor says, to ‘get wages moving’. “And sure, Labor did promise to increase real wages, just like it promised to cut power bills by $275 – but never specified how it would be done.” Ms Credlin said this government was always going to have a “heavy union-led agenda”. Ask someone who understands politics and economics. So can we have a revised budget paper for the next 7 yrs & what our planned debt will be? Will supply to house of power charges be removed? No mandate, Albo, no plan no idea.

We should apply ‘a lot of scrutiny’ to government’s IR billOpposition Leader Peter Dutton says we should apply “a lot of scrutiny” to the government’s industrial relations bill. 'Every independent has said that this process is completely rushed,” Mr Dutton told Sky News Australia. He said David Pocock and other independents realise “there is a very significant negative impact on small businesses economy-wide”. “The multi-employer bargaining arrangements are just the start of this bad bill. “The bill should be voted down.” OMGTheMess We should apply a lot of scrutiny to every bill that goes before our parliaments. Politicians are not the experts, for example few of them have much STEM education. Dutton hates workers. Must be nice to be a $300 millionaire for a few years of being a Queensland copper. 😉 I'd rather the Federal ICAC apply 'a lot of scrutiny' to Dutton. In fact ... it will!

Opposition is ‘realistic’ about what China is ‘saying’ and ‘doing’: DuttonOpposition Leader Peter Dutton says the Coalition supports Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping but is “realistic” about “the environment in which we live”. “China’s been difficult, as you’ve seen with Canada, with New Zealand, with the United States, with Britain, and with Australia and many, many other countries over the course of recent years,' Mr Dutton told Sky News Australia. “And we want a normalised relationship, we want a good trading relationship but most of all we want peace in our region and the Prime Minister will be pushing for that as other world leaders are and of course we support it. “But we’re realistic about what China is saying, what they’re doing, and the environment in which we live.” Albo will sellout Australia to China just like Andrews did Dutton is clueless about the environment in which he lives, his party is struggling in Victoria and Federally yet he offers NOTHING.

‘She wasn’t wrong’: Kamala Harris says 18-24 year olds are ‘stupid’US Vice President Kamala Harris’ comments from when she was California state attorney general are proof that even the “most wrong people in the world” can “occasionally get it right”, says Sky News host Rita Panahi. In a speech, Ms Harris said of 18-24-year-olds, “they are stupid, that is why we put them in dormitories, and they have a resident assistant – they make really bad decisions”. “She wasn’t wrong,” Ms Panahi said. “And they proved her point at the midterm elections by saving the Democrats from a resounding defeat.” A broken clock is right twice a day but that doesn't mean it is worth anything. Rita still waiting for her turn however Not really, Rita. You never get it right.
