And the parents will all be stuck in traffic trying to get to it. Werribee is a big place.

No doubt he is going to just knit up the trained staff too. He’s all aspiration with no substance.

Why can't they employ the staff DanielAndrewsMP planned to use for the Women's and Children's Hospital he announced in the 2018 campaign but never delivered? Or the staff for the 4000 promised but never delivered ICU beds. MatthewGuyMP

The party of privatisation and breaking promises, promising more things to build on our dime and privatise later.

If they could get the ambulance working on time it would be a start… build foundation strong first before you start the roof

I'm gonna print this out and if he does win (he won't) let's see if he keeps his promise to the kids.

This party? Trust them with healthcare? Don't think so. They didn't want to pay ambos last time they were in govt.

Unlikely.

💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥

Cost should be one billion. What is being left out? Staff of course

Hey Matthew Guy. Looking forward for the promise to build the new West Gippsland Hospital in Warragul.

For lobsters?

Great news

“If elected “ 🤣🤣

We all know they won’t….

And exactly who will work there Empty statements as per usual

Will it be similar to the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Fairfield they closed down decades ago? All talk as per usual!

At least they might do it as Delusional Dan won’t.

good ... and more of those medical clinics for emergencies .... open 24 hours .. instead of going to emergency room in hosp.

geehall1 of course they could always pledge not to inject children with dangerous experimental genetic therapies? and examine very closely those people and institutions that did / have, that'd be nice.

The Victorian Liberals “solutions” to the health crisis over the past two years: Undermine the medical advice of the CHO, play petty politics instead of prioritising the safety of Victorians, actively encourage anti-vax & QAnon extremists and propose a bat cull in Kew. No thanks!

State libs prioritising Health Just 20 years too late In opposition for a long long long time

Where’s the money coming from? State schools?

How will they staff it? 😉 Although good to see an actual policy from the opposition.

Hospitals are not promises you nitwits … they are a fundamental right of any Australian Citizen. The sooner the public realises this fact the sooner any government will be forced to act. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Staffed by …

lukedowning Will it include a dental hospital department?

The Liberal Plan...

How will it be staffed?

protect_the_CFA Well I guess then they are removing the mandates so they can get the nurses back ?

Hopefully it’s not like labor tents

Is the fence fixed yet?

Imagine if the hadn't closed 11 hospitals...

Are they going to pay for it with⬇️

Odd how they can Pledge money when they don't know what they have got. They should just realise they are flogging a dead horse.

Neither will happen. Take it to the bank.

What Jeff and subsequent Liberal governments did to Victoria will be long remembered. Guy is sprouting blatant fiction.

Well if the liberals, hadn’t closed four hospitals we might not have needed it

Another google land uni campus fraud bludgers, scabs freeloaders invasions enemies squatters set up attack shops!

Finally, some sort of plan. It'd be nice to hear a plan on how they can staff it and develop transport infrastructure to support it, but at least it's a start and the government will have to develop better health planning if they want to maintain maximum support.

if elected. 😂

Building it is easy. Operating it is much more difficult. The Liberals have been cutting health operating budgets for decades...

1. No they won't 2. Why not just improve transport links between Werribee and the current Children's Hospital, and expand capacity there?

No analysis ... just printing what has been said. What was the point of this article?

Likes promising money never going to do it.

Makes sense with the 'independent' running in Werribee.

And what is their plan to staff it? Fund it beyond just building it? Etc.

Doing more for the West than the party supposed to represent it

And then they’ll scrap the plan because it’s too hard

No they won’t.

During a shortage of doctors, nurses and ambulance drivers?

By when ? 2033?

Victorian political parties clash on rail loop projectThe Victorian government has declared it will continue to build the Suburban Rail Loop, despite the Opposition's pledge to shelve it in favour of funding health projects. The state's Shadow Treasurer is asking for caretaker conventions to be installed so no new major contracts can be signed before November 26. what opposition? Sky thinking the Liberals have any influence on Govt decisions is mildly amusing. Liberals closing 17 hospitals + sacking 3,500 nurses then saying 'they'll fix the broken health system' is completely hilarious😅
