Victorian Liberal MP David Davis says businesses and the public are “entitled” to know why they were plunged into six lockdowns and suffered the economic damage which resulted from them.

It comes as Victoria’s Privacy Watchdog has ordered the Andrews Government to make public the multiple pages of health advice used to plunge the state of Victoria into lockdown in February.

“The fact is, before the Chief Health Officer makes a decision, he has a brief handed to him, or his delegate, that lays out the exact reasons and the scientific material behind it,” Mr Davis told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “It’s my contention, very firmly, that that information should be in the public domain; that’s the Public Health and Wellbeing Act, it talks about transparency, accountability, proportionality.

“Whether they’ll try and appeal higher up the chain, well, we’ll wait and see; on previous sorts of evidence, they will fight to the death.”

NO. We are not entitled to know all the details and he should stop this act of sabotage forthwith.

Vic libs are not that bright and dont care for public health!

I would prefer to know what the Federal Government are hiding relative to the Porter $M’s, and why the Federal government favour NSW in all matters to the detriment of other states

I think we may have already worked out why, David.

Ummm. Just a stab in the dark. A deadly pandemic perhaps?

DavidDavisMLC Oh, that's easy: 'It's the pandemic, stupid!' We can get into Morrison's failure to order enough vaccines, the Ruby Dutton, the MurdochRiots superspreader events, Sty 'News' anti-vaccine lies, and so on. But he's obviously more than a bit dim, so why bother?

If something is stolen from your store it takes 17 turns of that item to get back to level. So thinking of this. How long will peoples business take to fully recover to get back to where they were before lockdowns ?

Vax death memorial at Brisbane Botanical Gardens. Average age of death from covid is 80-85 globally! These people had years before they got to 80 😭

Oh that’s easy - we’re in a pandemic. Obviously general knowledge and some level of intelligence is not a prerequisite for becoming a Victorian Liberal MP.

Meanwhile the government voted to STOP an investigation of the blind trust bribe. Porter doesn’t want us to know who bought him. Democracy is dead.

Bla bla bla.. that's what comes out of the Victorian liberal party.. Dan Andrews is running a muck and alm we get from the opposition is... bla bla bla.. Talk is cheap Victorian Liberal Party

What? They can't work that out by now. Who helps him get dressed in the morning?
