Monday marked a couple of important milestones for Victoria, neither of them good.
Monday also marked the last day that anybody believed Premier Daniel Andrews’ Labor government was in control of this second surge of the virus spreading through the suburbs.It’s not the physical terror of late March when sick lists were growing daily and giant pop-up hospitals - and morgues - were planned for the hundreds that could soon be dying each day.They mostly believed the state government and its health authorities knew what they were doing.But now it's different.

Trust might be regained by being transparent about the reason to procure private security firms. The lack of appropriate procedure is evident.
If Andrews was doing a good job ; 3000 vulnerable residents wouldn’t be living off charitable food donations. 3000 vulnerable residents would have been tested by now. Hotel quarantine security would have been supervised by police/military. And masks would be mandatory.
