Victoria records one new virus case and no deaths

The result has pushed the all-important 14-day rolling average - which dictates when restrictions will lift - down to 8.1 in metropolitan Melbourne, while that number is just 0.5 in regional Victoria.It comes after just two new cases were reported on Friday – which until Saturday had been the state’s best result since June 8.Premier Daniel Andrews is expected to announce on Sunday that some restrictions will be eased.
