Australia has received global praise for our COVID-19 response – but it’s a different story for one state, which has had an explosion of cases.

But a staggering 246 of those infections have come from Victoria alone, while the rest of the country recorded just 137.

It all comes down to the emergence of “clusters” – and unfortunately for Victorians, their state has copped a few of them, pushing the state average far above the rest of the country. One of the most notorious Victorian clusters is linked to the Cedar Meats abattoir in Melbourne’s west. The investigation will examine whether social distancing measures were in place at the abattoir and if workers were provided with appropriate personal protective equipment and hand sanitiser.

The fast-food outlets were shut for deep-cleaning after a truck driver made deliveries while he was asymptomatic and unaware he had COVID-19.

Murdoch News using clickbait again. What’s new?

When you lay with dogs you get the fleas.

Just goes to show that Daniel Andrews took the right actions to protect the state. How rapidly and contagious Covid 19 spreads. The government has said all along we will have outbreaks.

Yep. And it’s the only state in Australia which is pro China.

Just continue with the hysteria

Explosion!!!! You guys got be kidding me!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Propaganda

Simples: DHHS Victoria. Disgrace. If I were McDonald's I would be suing this department. Total incompetence.

Coincidentally the one state that China has apparently purchased....

246. Across a state of a bit more than 6 million. Total. Massachussetts has a similar population. NINETY THOUSAND CASES. 6,228 deaths.

Murdoch shit

Propaganda thisisnotjournalism

Not to mention letting all those people off the Ruby Princess in Melbourne! Sarcasm warning

Explosion of cases - reall!?! Per capita Vic is still daring better than other states .... but that doesn’t play into wanting to portray a bad news story! Let’s not forget to mention how much more testing is being done in Vic!

Coronavirus follows Communist China Ties; it time for Vic to distance itself from Beijing socially. coronavirus Why are Italy and Iran, the most affected countries far way from China? But what’s the difference in Taiwan doing so well?

This is going to happen as we open up. Hopefully we won’t all start eating each other, but looking at some of the tweets below, I don’t have much hope.

Who cares. All from McDonald's and Cedar Meats. Stop taking BS, it's getting tiresome.

isn't that where they had all those lockdown protest in the streets a couple weeks ago?

Do you know why we did so well. We are in the southern hemisphere. Studies were showing those had lower immune system from cold winter flus were effected higher. And you wont like this journo's but a large quota that had been infecfed had the flu jab. So watchout for flu season

People are not locked in their houses.they go shopping visit friends transmission thus happens.

Pravda.

That’s what happens when one company fails to adhere to the hygiene and safety rules and places its employees at risk.

If the numbers are right Vietnam is doing better than us by a mile.

Is that an explosion? Really? Look international for an explosion and keep a lid on the fear mongering.

Quotes from Dr Fauci

Hydroxychloroquine was approved 65 years ago - used in the military for over 50 years. Now the media wants you to think it’s dangerous!

Remember when the news and Dr Fauci was pushing this drug over hydroxychloroquine

CedarAndrews

Victoria also has one of the highest per capital tasting rate in the world, much higher then the other states. If you test, you find

The use of the word explosion is hilarious .. 246 cases in 23 days with over 100 from the bungled Cedar Meats cluster. People in the 1000’s are dying all around the world daily yet AUS media continue to sensationalize our situation here .. just pathetic

Despite the tougher restrictions which the media praised comrade Dan for? How are people locked in their homes contracting the virus?

And the afl think it’s a good idea to play football?!

Good old Comrade Daniel, yet here he is blaming every other state for it.

feralislandBud That’s because we’ve done the most testing. 🙄

123 active cases last week 99 this week! Stop fabricating the truth

But chairman Dan was the leader we had to have?
