Victoria records 14 more coronavirus deaths and 372 cases as details emerge of 'patient zero'

Victoria has announced 372 new coronavirus infections and 14 more deaths on Friday, bringing Australia's death toll to 375.The news comes as new COVID-19 testing sites will be opened in Victoria's major regional centres and reports emerge over the identity of"patient zero" for the state's deadly second wave.

Meanwhile, the state government is launching new testing sites at Geelong, Ballarat and Bendigo after the cities collectively recorded more than 250 cases in the past 14 days.Premier Daniel Andrews said more data would develop a clearer picture of the outbreaks, while deputy chief health officer Allen Cheng hoped it would obviate the need for stage four in the regional centres.

One new case is a returned traveller from Sydney who is in hotel quarantine, while the other is a person on a cargo ship off the coast, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said.

I feel sorry for him though...hes under tons of pressure, and he's only human...doing his job in a parliament, a country that already was/is deficient, un-focussed, negligent, and money driven, while citizens (and environment) suffer needlessly.

Anyone going to ask the comorbidity of those deaths and how many deaths labelled Covid are actually not be positive tests but 'probable' or doesn't that feed the fear and hysteria narrative?
