Power out in Central Vic Trains cant run too hot! 3rdworld

Looks like closing Loy Yang was a great decision, ah now we don't have enough power to run the state.

The lights are on, but there is nobody home.

What heatwave... In 2008/9 we had 4 days of 40... And we had Hazelwood. Wasn't a problem.

certoscio2 Renewable 'industry' always tries to cover-up this massive hidden cost of Solar & Wind Ponzi schemes-namely: For every 1kwhr of unreliable 'renewables' injected into Aust grid - 1 kwhr of Hydro, Coal, Gas & Diesel must be on standby for immediate back up auspol vicpol nswpol

M0n500n1 Thanks Daniel Andrews and LABOR 😡👎 Taxing and shutting Hazelwood early into oblivion in preference for unreliable renewables is responsible - DISGRACE auspol springst

There is plenty in other states including Qld supplied mainly from renewables and distributed storage including pumped hydro and batteries. That's why we have interconnectors and an integrated east coast energy market. AEMO_Media

They could take from SA? Oh wait...

turn off aluminium production for a day and we'll be fine

So how is that green power working out folks?

The media controls politics, this is your fault.

Look out if you are a white rabbit in a little cage , you will be running this weekend !

Hopefully we will . The people managing the grid have done a brilliant job this summer , and if we have just one or two problems that would still be a world class outcome .

What one day of 41 is a heat wave?

“if the grid is pushed beyond its limit by a combination of excess demand and the ongoing heat making the system less efficient.” “Less efficient” No, an ancient coal generator was shut down because of a leak. More rooftop solar would enable Victoria to sail through heatwaves

Oh dear

At the outrageous rates they charge consumers, they should be capable of doing the one, simple job they have to do.

Reliable coal strikes again...

Great pay a premium for power and get none when it matters!!!

Bureau of Meteorology: 'A heatwave is now defined by three or more days of unusually high maximum and minimum temperatures in any area'. Two days do not a heatwave make. Unless, of course, you're trying to talk up the Global Warming narrative which, of course, is the case here.
