The mother of an eight-year-old boy whose grave was cleared by a Queensland council says she will finally be able to give her son the memorial he deserves.Local council cleared gravesite to dirt last weekLast week, Oliver Tiainen's grave was stripped bare by the Scenic Rim Regional Council, who removed everything including a border, candle and his name-bearing cross.

"We provide advance notice, as sensitively as possible, when there are items at a gravesite that don't meet Council's policy, and give families time to remove, rectify or apply to have specific memorials in place," the statement said.
