Sorry but why are they confused ? It's called protecting Australia oh my God - one wonders why it's spreading so fast

This sounds stupid. What's with this mass hysteria?

Prefer that to pneumonia. Stop peddling fake outrage over issues of race, rather than public health.

The health of Australians comes first.

Heartbreaking and unnecessary cruel.

Big deal

Small price to pay

Govt issues China travel ban in response to coronavirus crisis | Sky News AustraliaAnyone arriving from China, except Australian citizens, permanent residents and their direct family, will be barred from entry to Australia as the government seeks to stop the spread of the potentially deadly coronavirus.\n\nPrime Minister Scott Morrison has urged Australians to refrain from travelling to mainland China, calling the unfolding outbreak an “escalating threat”.\n\nMr Morrison told reporters on Saturday the government is taking this stance due to an” abundance of caution”. \n\nAt least 256 people have died from the coronavirus in China alone, with at least 10 cases of the disease confirmed in Australia.\n\nForeign Minister Marise Payne said there are “a significant number” of Australians in the at-risk Wuhan province and that the ADF is working to evacuate them.\n\n Good but once again too little too late. This self-isolation is crap. What if people don't self-isolate? we could end up with thousands of infected people roaming the streets

Dutton defends China travel banHome Affairs Minister Peter Dutton has defended the ban on travellers from mainland China amid the coronavirus outbreak but admits the move will have a "negative" economic effect. Correct decision imo.. we can deal with a negative effect on the economy.. but can we deal with the catastrophic effect if it runs rampant? PeterDutton_MP made the right decision - the health impact to 24 million Australians is greater than the impact on the economy. The Chinese Govt did not take the necessary preventive measures in December. auspol ScottMorrisonMP AlboMP coronavirus From 5000 expected travelers down to 700 overnight, so vast majority (86%) were not citizens/residents coming from China to Melbourne, interesting :O
