US troops leaving Syria set to remain in region to prevent IS revival

US President Donald Trump said on Monday that US troops withdrawing from Syria would remain in the region to prevent a resurgence of the Islamic State group.

In particular, the Syrian army deployment is a victory for President Bashar al-Assad and his most powerful ally Russia, giving them a foothold in the biggest remaining swathe of the country that had been beyond their grasp.READ MORESyrian state media reported the army entered Manbij, a town near the Turkish border in northeast Syria that had been controlled by a militia allied to US-backed Kurdish forces.

SBS Hundreds of ISIS detainees have already escaped the Ain Issa facility due to Turkey. The Kurds have already struck a deal with Syrian & Russian forces to attack Turkish/ISIS troops.

The Turks want to exterminate both the PKK in Turkey and the YPG in Syria. Mind you SBS, there are barely any I.S soldiers left they've been losing territory for years. The only people who are fleeing are the relatives and Jihadi brides of ISIS fighters.

So relocating to Saudi is all above board.
