I fail to understand how a President, without parliamentary authority, can shut down a government, deny civil servants their pay, just to get his own way. I don't know what kind of 'ocracy' that is, but it's certainly not democracy.
Trump will be remembered for causing this shutdown. This is his contribution to the government of the US and it will be remembered I know that it is no comfort to you guys at present, but my thoughts and prayers are with you.
These people are working and not getting paid, while Congress seems to be getting paid and hardly working.
