Mohamed Noor was found guilty of third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter after shooting Ms Ruszczyk Damond, who had called 911 to report a possible sexual assault in an alley behind her
Minneapolis home. The 33-year-old told the court he was sorry for 'taking the life of a perfect person'. Noor will have to serve at least eight years of his sentence before he is eligible for parole.
