Grim warning of further RBA rate hikes as Australia is 'nowhere near' tackling inflation problem after release of new CPI figures
While it is the fifth consecutive quarter of lower annual inflation since its peak of 7.8 per cent at the end of 2022, one particular figure has experts worried. The inflation rate for the quarter rose by 1 per cent, a good deal higher than last quarter’s 0.6 per cent.
