British police are investigating an alleged attack on a protester, who appeared to be pulled into the grounds of China's consulate in Manchester and beaten.

The protest took place on the first day of the twice-a-decade congress of China's ruling Communist Party in Beijing, during which Mr Xi is widely expected to win a third leadership term. "Greater Manchester Police are aware of an incident that took place at around 3pm on Sunday 16 October 2022 at the Chinese consulate," a police spokesperson told Reuters in a written response."Enquiries are ongoing at this time to understand the full circumstances."

To be exact, the staff, including the consul general himself, dragged the protester inside the compound and beaten him up. Indeed it’s not just about Hongkongers or UK. This could happen at any China consulate as their staff are so well trained for such attempted abduction.
