UK and India sign defence deal as the West tries to lure India away from Russia

Britain and India have signed a new defence cooperation agreement and will look to complete a free trade deal by the end of the year, their leaders said after a meeting in New Delhi on Friday.

India is more Western inclined than Eastern in my opinion..kind of sitting on the fence atm. India fell for the Russian trick of being supplied with cheap armoury which is why they are not fully pledged to sanctions against Russia. Cricket-mad? Chicken Tikka Masala? No brainer.

Nothing to do with Russia. India has recently deregulated it's defence industry and everybody wants a piece. Any person who thinks the West cares about Russian aggression over profits lives in lala land.

There should no defence deals anywhere in the World. Defence deals mean war deals planned. There is no strategy for peace if there is strategy for defence in another word War
