But former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said on Tuesday that the minister must now “out himself” in respect for his colleagues and the country.
Agree. He should resign too. This Federal Minister’s “reputation” is tarnished. Mud sticks !
We have a justice system for a reason. Innocent until PROVEN guilty. Not trial by media and not court of public opinion. Otherwise accusations of crimes (and their accusers) will become a common political game and lose the importance they should absolutely hold.

The lawyer wrong. As a lawyer the opinion should be based on the law and that lawyer knows very well that any chance of conviction rightly or wrongly 34 years after the alleged rape took place is virtually impossible to get a conviction.
He has a degree in Pell
Hard to do it due to lack of evidence. The only victim had died hence all evidence was buried underground. But if he’s guilty I’m sure there will be more evidence but so many years had passed I wonder who will testify. Sad case.

The police have said the matter is over. That means he is innocent and will stay innocent. This will end up becoming the next dual citizenship tactic for removing elected representatives.
He should 'Step Down'
Ofcourse he should, there is no way to prove it now, but confidence in him has diminished and we don't want an accused rapist in Parliament. See ya!

Doesn’t the lawyer know that a person is innocent until proven guilty? Also, shouldn’t the lawyer have done their job when their client was alive and directed them with the appropriate coarse of action when their client was in a position to make a difference. Sh*t lawyer 💩
