Two teenagers are dead and five injured after their car struck a tree last night in Kalgup, near Busselton, in Western Australia's south west region.

Police say the vehicle was travelling east on Doyle Road after 8:00pm when it failed to negotiate a bend, colliding with a tree.

Seven people were reportedly in the car when it crashed, including two people who were travelling in the boot.
