Three people have been injured, including two officers, after a man led police on a wild chase through the Gold Coast , before crashing into two police cars. The 29-year-old man was believed to have been involved in a fight with a woman, who police say was known to him, on Anaheim Dr in Helensvale about 1.50pm, before emergency services were called.
Two police officers hospitalised after dramatic Gold Coast car chase. The man sustained a non-life-threatening stab wound and fled the scene once officers arrived, according to police. Police said they tracked the man before he crashed into two police cars on Yaun St in Coomera. The officers from both cars, a male senior constable and a male constable, sustained minor injuries and were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
