A teenager and a young man have been arrested after a four-hour stand-off with police in Sydney's south-west.

Relatives tried to talk the pair into surrendering after police surrounded a house on Billikin Way in Ambarvale."One person's told me it's a hostage situation," one resident told 9News.Minutes later, a 21-year-old man also stepped out and was stripped by the tactical unit before being met by relatives in the back of the wagon.Nobody was injured and the two people arrested were taken to Campbelltown police station.
