Premier Gladys Berejiklian is warning the state Tuesday will be 'a very dangerous day for NSW,' as heat and strong winds combine to create potentially 'lethal' fire conditions

Premier Gladys Berejiklian is warning the state Tuesday will be "a very dangerous day for NSW," as heat and strong winds combine to create potentially "lethal" conditions.

"Tomorrow is a very dangerous day for NSW. This again is giving us a taste for what we are likely to experience the next few months ... that combination, as we know, has been lethal in the last few months so we are anticipating a big effort on the ground tomorrow."On Monday there were around 1900 RFS crews fighting fires.

He said some areas will see humidity levels below 10 per cent, as a dry air mass moves over the centre of Australia, which is expected to combine with strong winds from the west or north-west. Commissioner Fitzsimmons said Tuesday would be a "widespread, challenging day," with total fire bans stretching from the South Coast, Illawarra and southern ranges, up through Sydney, the Hunter and north to the Queensland border.

The RFS declared total fire bans for nine districts in the state for Tuesday, to commence from midnight.

No shit Sherlock ! Any weather App can tell you the temperature

Apart from the stating the bleedingly obvious and paying lip service how about properly funding the NSWRFS and getting the army reserve involved in relieving exhausted firefighters and volunteers on the fire grounds

2/2 The point is that Australia has available water , however we are infected with blind agenda driven gutless wimps , who are not game to take on the Greens, Councils, action groups, ie don’t offend anyone1 The easiest way to achieve that is to do Fuck All which is what they do

Building any Dams Gladys, ? Perhaps doubling the DeSal Plants capacity ? Build another 3 Plants, Talking to the NT & the Feds about piping water from the Gulf, Ord, Minet Rivers ? Talking to Qld about the Bradfield Scheme, ? Diverting the Clarence ? Anything Gladys ?

She is so much part of the problem. Get out of here.....

koalakiller should be in a jail cell. berejiklianbushfires LyingNastyParty GladysKilledLewis

Why isn’t it considered a state of emergency?

But, of course, remember - now is NOT the time to be talking about climate change. We can do that after Gladys has enjoyed her roast turkey - or maybe after Easter.

So....what is she doing about it?

When will Premier Gladys KoalaKiller Berejiklian give NSW Fire Services the resources they need to fight these fires?

.GladysB is someone's puppet and it's not the peoples: No plan to secure Sydney and NSW water supplies for next 30yrs. Kills off ICAC. Sells off public assets so the cashflows line private pockets. auspol ausdef theblock thebachelorette abcnews

So this isn’t he first direct comment in days...good start. But apart from warnings what are your plans? What are you doing?

Yep that weather report was given a couple of days ago, but thanks for your efforts.

WTP - Warnings, thoughts and prayers

Gladys will be ready to talk about drought as soon as it starts pissing down raining. She will restrict what she says to 'you see, it does still rain'

So what does Gladys intend to do?

We're asking Canadian and US firefighters to help, meanwhile the ADF is sitting on its arse doing FA as usual.

The NSWTF takes $90k a week from casual and temporary teachers without any intention of providing support to them in opposition to their permanent colleagues. Discriminatory representation; that's against the law. Time this union was held to account.

The one resounding feature of a dropkick, they always ride on the coat tails of others

GladysB — Can we schedule a little 4pm chat tomorrow re: climate change? I’ll get my people to reach to your people yeah?

So can we now talk about climate change GladysB, is today good for you?

Jesus I’ll be surprised if Australia doesn’t explode clean off the face of the earth on Tuesday, armegeddon cataclysmic catastrophic code red level!

Her monotone addresses smack of 'Nothing to see here' Business as usual with fire catastrophe in her state No emotion Trying not to draw attention to the fact that people are suffering animals dying and native bush destroyed And that it is unprecedented Unprecedented

Is a warning the best action you can do? Should we listen to this warning like you listened to the warnings from the fire chiefs?

Yes if only she knew months ago...
