What are the recommendations for hotels, tours/tour guides, and things to see for first-time visitors?

We have a three-day stopover in Tokyo, thinking to stay in the Akasaka area. Any recommendations for hotels in the area, tours/tour guides, and areas of the city/things to see for first-time visitorsAkasaka is a good choice although it’s not close to the Yamanote Line and that’s the best way to get around the city.looks like a business hotel but there are plenty of boutique touches that elevate the experience. Rooms are on the tight side.

Tokyo street fashion takes fantasy to extremes, see it in Harujuku’s Takeshita Street on the weekend. Nearby is the Togo Shrine, a little gem at the other end of the cultural spectrum. For one-stop shopping see Coredo Muromachi, a gallery of desirable things you never knew you wanted. I’d love to visit France’s Guedelon Castle but it seems the only way to get there would be to hire a car. I’m nervous of driving a left-hand drive, especially through traffic.is an ambitious project to recreate a 13th-century castle using the technology and materials of the Middle Ages. Located in northern Burgundy, the castle is open until November 3 in 2024 but it closes on some days, so check the website. However getting there is difficult via public transport.

Have a night out at Smalls Jazz Club, another night out at Marie’s Crisis Cafe in West Village, dinner at Bar Pitti in Greenwich Village , a walk along the High Line, another along Fifth Avenue from 59th Street as far south as Saks Fifth Avenue department store, a much longer walk through Central Park and the Tompkins Square Greenmarket in the East Village if you happen to be around on a Sunday.
