CEO of Skykraft Michael Frater says air traffic management will be improved so that when an aircraft encounters turbulence in the middle of the ocean, the pilot will not have to wait for permission to change to a smoother altitude.

“It will also mean that the fuel burn of the aircraft will be reduced; this means that it saves

money for airlines, and it also reduces the environmental impact,” Mr Frater told Sky News Australia.
