Residents in some areas across Greater Sydney have barely touched the vouchers and millions of dollars could expire next week. 9News

The vouchers were rolled out during the COVID-19 pandemic as an economic boost and sweetener for NSW residents to go and visit restaurants, cafes, theatres, museums, zoos and entertainment centres to name a few.

The vouchers expire next week on June 30 and millions of dollars the government injected into the vouchers will be useless.Areas with the most unused Dine and Discover vouchers Residents in some local government areas have barely touched the vouchers and millions of dollars could expire next week. The top offender is the Central Coast with more than 540,000 unredeemed vouchers which add up to nearly $13.7 million.

The next area with the most unused vouchers is Blacktown with 529,000 unused vouchers adding up to $13.2 million.In Sydney, there are 396,000 unused vouchers worth up to $9.9 million.
