The nation's peak business lobby group wants the Morrison government to pick up to 10 industry "winners" to lead the country out of the coronavirus recession as figures show a record 1 million Australians are looking for work.
The figures, compiled from a survey before the advent of Victoria's stage four lockdowns to stop the spread of the coronavirus, showed 1.01 million people formally out of work.
