Tigers to sack coach after desperate club review

The Concord club won eight NRL games and finished 13th this season, marking a decade since the team last featured in finals.

Immediately following a demoralising last-round loss to Canterbury a fortnight ago, the Tigers board launched a review of the entire football department. "I would be surprised if Madge is at the Tigers beyond the end of this week," journalist James Hooper told Triple M radio on Sunday.

Can't imagine why anyone would be desperate enough to coach for this club. Management obviously doesn't support coaches they're always seem to just use them as scape goats.

If they sack Madge the players win again and they continue to be mediocre. It’s not like they had a top 8 squad this year. I’d rather they get rid of the CEO. Madge deserves another year

Did no one in the tigers hierarchy watch tiger town? The man has passion. Look at the playing group for Christ sake. No forwards going forward and the half back is a wannabe. I’d then be looking at the hopeless board who seem to have been around for all these coaching changes
