Tickets not already scooped up in the AFL's allocation to Greater Western Sydney members will go back into the pool today to be purchased by Tigers' gold members who missed out in the ballot.

Desperate Richmond members who missed out on tickets to Saturday's grand final will get a second chance on Tuesday from 11am.

Members have been advised by the club to have their Ticketek login details and their 12-digit Richmond membership number at the ready. GWS has 30,000 members eligible to buy tickets, but it is not known how many have taken up the opportunity. Fans panicked over the weekend when their allocated grand final seat numbers - guaranteed to some members as part of their annual package - disappeared from their online accounts, leaving them wondering if they needed to take further action.

Hope GWS win the flag in front of 95,000 Richmond supporters.

I am sure there must have been a huge rush by the 27 GWS supporters. I have seen more people at local suburban games then at GWS games.

Can a Giants win make a big, big sound in Sydney's west?If the heroics that earned GWS it's first grand final spot doesn't convert Sydney's west to the Giants, the AFL will have better luck setting up a Scrabble night, writes Richard Hinds. judging by their crowds you would have to say no, total waste of time and money Swans crowds were low for 20 years. It will take the same for GWS, but Hinds never misses a chance to put the boot in. Time the ABC put the old hack out to pasture. I’m rooting for them. As a Victorian who lives in Sydney, it totally pisses me off how parochial Victorians are! It’s embarrassing. Even ABC Breakfast is sooo Victorian centric. My heart and extended family are in Victoria forever but it’s time to grow up.
