Many blame the new six again rule for the string of blowouts in the NRL. But Wests Tigers' coach Michael Maguire says teams are being rewarded — or punished — for the fitness work they've done.

But Maguire played down the effect of the rule change ahead of the Tigers' Sunday clash with Gold Coast in Brisbane.
