Julian Assange's brother has called on the Albanese government to “stand up for the rights of Australian citizens” following the WikiLeaks founder's extradition delay.

Picture: Jack Taylor/Getty Images) Judges Victoria Sharp and Jeremy Johnson have said the court “will grant leave to appeal” on narrow grounds “unless a satisfactory assurance is provided by the Government of the United States of America”.
Mr Assange’s brother pointed to the already unbearable lengths of time the Wikileaks founder has been held in limbo. Assange’s wellbeing has been continuously deteriorating and he was unable to attend his two-day trial last month due to poor health.
