Happy Australia 🇦🇺 Day to all !!

Australia Day is awesome because it's when Europeans arrived cheers

Meh

So SBS speaks on behalf of all Aboriginal people? All Aboriginal people think the same do they? Isn't generalizing the very definition of racism? Do not assume journalists are of high intelligence or thinkers. Most are average intelligence & followers.

Why are you hiding so many people’s replies? Shouldn’t Australian citizens be able to respond to an Australian broadcasting organisation? auspol

Have a bbq, drink beers and be thankful for the fact you call this land home in the first place.👍

SBS No one's telling you have to celebrate it so dont tell us we cant celebrate it.

SBS Unbelievable

Changing Australia Day wouldn’t placate any of those against it

1: Don't celebrate it. 2: Have Church apologise for blessing massacres. 3: Give it back.

Use the day to mourn if that’s what you want to do. It’s your choice. Others will chose to use the day to celebrate. We all have a choice.

Let's look forward not back

I bet it’s not all ‘indigenous’ people.

10 years ago this article would never of been written. It’s a day, get over it.

bad sleep would

Simply not true. Most aboriginal people are quite happy to celebrate Australia day along with the rest of us. A handful of people mostly with tiny amounts of aboriginal blood like to signal their virtue by pretending to be offended by it.
