why not put the season on hold for a month and see how all this plays out. A player or official is going to get the virus in the next week or 2 anyway. Once the worst of it passes pick up the season then and just play into next year if needed.

Maybe the overpaid players can pay to keep the game alive. Or stop wasting money on the bunker. Stop playing games on Thursday night and Friday at 6pm and give people a chance to go to the games. Go back to one ref.
Why is the NRL so financially strapped in the first place? If they can't get through this worldwide health crisis financially, something is wrong already. They have no one to blame but the people who run the business. Lives and wellbeing before $$$ NRL
There are people much further up the line who should get Gov't money before the NRL.
The NRL should stop crying poor and understanding they're not the only ones facing challenges. Cancel the season for crying out loud.
I will laugh if the sport fails and fades.
