NT Police say two people have died in a crash on the Stuart Highway south of Katherine, while another person has been killed in an accident outside Yulara near Uluru.

abc.net.au/news/nt-three-killed-separate-crashes-near-katherine-yulara/101511866Three people have died in two separate road crashes near Katherine in the Top End and outside Yulara near Uluru, according to Northern Territory police.Major crash investigators are on their way to both incidentsThe Stuart Highway is currently closed in both directions around the crash, about 40 kilometres south of Katherine.

Police say local officers are on the scene and major crash detectives are also travelling from Darwin to respond.Police say officers also remain on the scene of an accident on the Lasseter Highway, about 15 kilometres outside Yulara.No information has been released about the ages or genders of those involved in either accident.
