The three men went missing last weekend during a camping and surfing trip, posting idyllic photos on social media of waves and isolated beaches.

Thieves killed two Australians and an American on a surfing trip to Mexico in order to steal their ute, particularly because they wanted the tyres, authorities said on Sunday.
