Finance Minister MathiasCormann says 'there is no medical case' for state borders to remain closed and has called on state and territory leaders to move on the issue as soon as possible.

Finance Minister Mathias Cormann says "there is no medical case" for state borders to remain closed and has called on state and territory leaders to move on the issue as soon as possible.

Mr Cormann said Australia was on "an easing trajectory" and the virus was "being managed" and therefore the sooner borders reopened, "the better for Australian jobs". However, the Finance Minsiter conceded "we have to be careful we don't make political decisions here". "We have to make decisions based on the health and wellbeing of Australians," he said.

MathiasCormann Now he’s a doctor?

MathiasCormann There most definitely is a medical case and it is continually being presented by the QLD CMO. Sure, it is being denied by MathiasCormann and the stools on but that’s not news, that just liars continuing to lie. Nothing new or surprising there.

MathiasCormann Since when does Cormann have any credibility left on any issue....

MathiasCormann I didn’t know Cormann was a Doctor?

MathiasCormann States: ‘we will decide who comes to this State and the circumstances in which they come'

MathiasCormann Time to believe doctors, eh?

MathiasCormann Of course there isn't.. it's hyped up premiers believing their own self worth who are keeping well needed tourism $ from flowing into the economy....

MathiasCormann imagine listening to a finance minister on medical advice.

MathiasCormann Good thing the Cth has no constitutional power to intervene in state border closures. Otherwise Victoria and NSW disease spikes will become SA and Qld’s second wave.

MathiasCormann Not up to him.

MathiasCormann Just for my drinking game, how may times did he say Labor party?

MathiasCormann That's Dr Corman then is it?

MathiasCormann Medical case or not, South Australian Premier Nicola Spurrier is concerned the state has NO COVID-19 cases. Through her puppet, marshall_steven, she said the state was 'on the road to opening up' in the future - one seat at a time! saparli Covid19SA

MathiasCormann ... and there's no case for lining the pockets of the UN and EU with our tax dollars while the country suffers financially. Cut them off!

MathiasCormann There was no need for borders to be closed for the sick in offshore detention to see a doctor here either.. Opportunistic hypocricy as only done by this lnp.

MathiasCormann vibblevobble

MathiasCormann I pity the poor charity collector who in future approaches me for a donation to help the victims of a Queensland cyclone or flood, which as we know happens regularly.

MathiasCormann Well he would know, wouldn't he.

MathiasCormann There is no case for a failed corrupt government like this current Liberal party but hey......there you go

MathiasCormann Lol, yeah cus the finance minister would know/give a shit.

MathiasCormann Thank you SKY News for once again getting commentary from a passing lnp lunatic dickfiddler instead of hiring quality journos to present real news.

MathiasCormann Seems to me Gladys is the mouthpiece for the Federal Government. FYI, NSW has the worst covid-19 cases, now they want to potentially reinfect the rest of the country. Again.

MathiasCormann Sorry Corm. States are within their constitutinal rights to maintain border closure. Unlike your mob who let us down rubydutton in regard to b o r d e r protection!!

MathiasCormann Dr. Mathias Cormann you mean?

MathiasCormann I think I would like CMO's opinion on the state of the economy please if Mathias can give his opinion on medical matters.

MathiasCormann If it's safe to open the borders then surely it must be safe to lift ALL restrictions in the complaining states?

MathiasCormann Yep, the Fascsist would know!

MathiasCormann Apparently there are other Medical & Social benefits though. “The COVID-19 pandemic has caused an unexpected phenomenon in WA — crime has dropped by almost 40 per cent and police say border controls have led to a meth shortage in the state.”

MathiasCormann So Mathias Conmann has now got medical qualifications.

MathiasCormann Created a monster named “National Cabinet”? State Premiers up there every day on the national stage telling us how we will all get better by slow strangulation by regulation. 🙄

MathiasCormann The medical case is if you introduce a contagious into a community with no cases you are spreading the disease. Just stick to ripping off the taxpayer. That’s what your good at.

MathiasCormann It’s time for Prime Minister Scott Morrison to act immediately.

MathiasCormann Trying to set voters against Labor Premiers.. hope it doesn't work... and outbreak would shut them up!!

MathiasCormann There is no political case or legal case for cormsnn to be in politics. But here we are.

MathiasCormann Control freaks

MathiasCormann And Cormann is a medical expert in what field, again? Oh...that’s right...hasn’t any medical experience whatsoever 🤦🏻‍♂️

MathiasCormann Not until NSW gets their community acquired infections under control, NSW LNP govt is a shambles.

MathiasCormann Why should anyone listen to you Bozo.

MathiasCormann Yer there is , let’s build a wall.

MathiasCormann Only stupidity

MathiasCormann 'I need your clothes, your boots, and your motorcycle. ..'

MathiasCormann So the Cormannator is a Doctor now? There is a medical case Matty. Your mate Ruby Dutton set it in motion when he was shown to have no control over our borders.

MathiasCormann Libs getting desperate 🤦🏻‍♂️

MathiasCormann They are all piling on ,this LNP rabble.,all under instructions from the big boy, where is he by the way.

MathiasCormann Amen. Else we'll be closing the borders for runny noses, stubbed toes and hurt feelings next

MathiasCormann since when MathisDude decided to become pseudo premiers too? do your job and leave primers to do their jobs I reckon 🤔

MathiasCormann Why would anyone pay any attention to MathiasCormann? If irrelevant-waste-of-space took human form it would be him. He's darker than any black hole. He's the Vantablack of black holes.

MathiasCormann That’s because you haven’t asked for advice. It’s a state issue as agreed at National Cabinet.

MathiasCormann i wish cormann would move on as soon as possible

MathiasCormann No medical case, apart from the advice of State medical officers.

MathiasCormann Blah blah blah. Since when did anyone care what he thinks?

MathiasCormann As a proud South Aussie, I can assure you that I'm not interested in any borders with the eastern states being opened, they need to significantly reduce the Covid 19 cases that continue to arise daily!

MathiasCormann Conman say what ?

MathiasCormann Poor fella can’t count to 34. How did he get to be a doctor.

MathiasCormann Yeah nah. Fuck off Muttarse.

MathiasCormann Prime Minister Holiday In Hawaii While The Country Burns was going to the footy when the states were acting to save thousands of Australian lives...I don't think you clowns get to lecture anyone on coronavirus safety measures to be honest.

MathiasCormann So he’s a doctor now...

MathiasCormann There is as much medical reason to keep state borders closed as our international border - same issue - but i am sure none of us want US and UK flights coming in

MathiasCormann Who cares what that robot says. The Premiers and state governments have sovereignty to make the decisions for their state and peoples. The federal government has no legal jurisdiction whatsoever. That's how it works. End of story Sky News. Stop lying.

MathiasCormann NSW and Victoria have hundreds of active cases. WA, NT, SA and others have a handful or zilch. Can’t you see the blatant risk imbalance in those figures? Why would the states and territories that are virtually clean of the virus allow visitors from hotspot states?
