Let's get things straight. Putting in travel bans and quarantine isn't racist. It's a sensible precaution. Outright harassing asians physically and through words is being racist. And both exists.
Reality is the Australian government are doing a fine job on both keeping it out and then providing efficient medical care when it does occur. This quarantine model seems o be doing its job and from what I have seen/know the facilities at these camps are more than adequate.

Putting in preventative measures like offshore quarantining and travel restrictions is actually sensible and smart. I think 6 to 12 month travel bans to China or Asian hotspots are a safe and logical idea until this plague finishes its cycle.
