White House acting chief of staff says Donald Trump was no more to blame for the Christchurch shootings than Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

. "I'm not sure how many times we have to say that.", Mulvaney said that Donald Trump was no more to blame for what happened in New Zealand than Mark Zuckerberg, the chief executive officer of Facebook, whose platform the gunman used to live-stream the killings.Trump on Friday condemned the "horrible massacre" at the mosques and the White House called the shooting a "vicious act of hate.

The President had also called New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, who later told a press conference she did not agree with Trump's assessment of the impact of the white nationalist movement. The accused gunman’s manifesto praised the US President as "a symbol of renewed white identity and common purpose". The reference revived criticism that Trump has not been strong enough in condemning hate speech and has fomented anti-Muslim sentiment.

"Bring back @JudgeJeanine Pirro," Trump tweeted in posts in which he blamed Democrats for trying to "silence a majority of our country" and advocated supporters to "stop working soooo hard on being politically correct." "He cannot just say it's a small group of people," she said on CNN. "We need to be speaking up against this and it has to start with him. He needs to do better by us and the country. He needs to speak up and condemn this very loud and very clearly."Trump drew strong criticism in the days after, in 2017 when he equated white supremacists with counter-protesters and saying "both sides" were to blame.

If he was he certainly wouldn't go near Kim Jon Un The White House should not even concern itself with kiddie leftist labels which are demonstrably untrue. It just emboldens CNN & MSNBC etc to continue their sandpit tactics. The American President is a cynical opportunist who staggered & tottered over the Election winning line; having harnessed, at his Nuremberg type rallies, the darkest, vilest & most dangerous rhetoric of fanatical, loony, cowardly, white supremacists
