Private Sydney: Carla Zampatti’s farewell ranks among some of the grandest given to the biggest fashion luminaries in the world | hornery

Former foreign affairs minister Julie Bishop turned up in a feathery, strapless, skin-tight midnight blue cocktail dress, while Jill Hickson Wran, the widow of the late NSW premier Neville Wran, entered the cathedral in a rather large, leopard-print asymmetrical hat.Rarely do fashion designers get a state funeral, but that was a reflection of Zampatti’s impact on the social, business and cultural life not just of Sydney, but the entire country.

Italian designer Christian Valentino and German model Claudia Schiffer attend the funeral service for late fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent in Paris June 5, 2008.Office workers and residents of nearby buildings leaned out of their windows as police held crowds back near the church of Saint Roch where the ceremony was held.

Elton John reportedly burst into tears while paying his respects at Versace’s Milan home, where the designer’s ashes were displayed in an urn. Campbell, who worked with Versace often, was seen “doubled over and crying”.

hornery or did i reflect in her donations & LNP friends ?

hornery A pity it was spoilt by the rogues gallery of politicians.

Is this the most ‘relatable’, kind and engaging dating show ever?Love on the Spectrum is a dating show about difference and diversity, and at the same time about the things that make us all the same. As an autistic people I’m not really a fan. From a neurotypical perspective it might seem like a better dating show, but to me you’re ogling us like zoo animals and looking at us like children. Why not have a dating show that treats us like everyone else?
