Renowned winery owner says he wants to ignite an ambitious plan to bring Disneyland to Australia. 7NEWS

“I think, in tourism, we’re all a little bit sick and tired of Adelaide being the place you fly over when you go from Sydney to Perth,” Randall told“McLaren Vale would be my spot – wide, open, flat, next to the beach, next to the ranges - makes a lot of sense.” A South Australian business leader is pushing for a Disneyland - like this one in California - to be built in his backyard.The state government says it has not received a proposal from Disney to build a park in South Australia.The others are in California, Florida, Shanghai, Tokyo, Paris and Hong Kong.McLaren Vale, known for its wineries, could be home to the next Disneyland.
