Sky News host SharriMarkson says the findings so far have been 'quite extraordinary' following a recent major leak containing the details of nearly two million CCP members.

Sky News host Sharri Markson says the findings so far have been "quite extraordinary" following a recent major leak containing the details of nearly two million CCP members. The leak is reportedly a register with the details of Communist Party members, including their names, party position, birthday, national ID number and ethnicity.

A data leak has uncovered at least ten Shanghai consulates have Chinese Communist Party members in senior positions. While there is no evidence of spying for the Chinese government, intelligence officials have labelled it a breach of protocol and a risk to national security. "The examination into this could be endless," Ms Markson told Sky News host Chris Smith.
