After finding a solution to the skills shortage in his own business, Amit Choudhary has raised $4 million to build an education platform.

Saasfocus developed an in-house training program that combined mentoring, specialised content and hands-on projects to recruit new consultants from backgrounds such as admin, journalism and banking.After a stint at Cognizant, Mr Choudhary and Atif Saad, the chief operating officer of Saasfocus, launched a new education platform called Saasguru in mid-2021.

The company specialises in producing technology professionals who can implement and run different cloud technologies which are increasingly being adopted by companies to manage their internal and customer-facing systems. In January, Saasguru previously raised a pre-seed round of $1.3 million from investors Square Peg, Black Nova and Antler, which also participated in the seed round.
