'The decision's been made': Andrews firm on vaccine mandate

Addressing the media on Thursday, Mr Andrews stated the ongoing protests attended by thousands of Victorians has not shifted his position at all.“I would just say to people, violence doesn’t work, only vaccination works against this. Go and get vaccinated.”

“I would just note the same decision was made in New South Wales. So you know, this is happening in many different parts of the country for the same reasons,” he said. “Getting the place open – that’s what I’m passionate and committed to doing. None of us should do anything to put that at risk.” His comments come as Victoria Police prepare for a fourth consecutive day of planned protests through Melbourne’s CBD – with nurses and teachers set to join construction workers in pushing back against the mandate.

Dan will go industry to industry mandating the vaccine. Next industry will likely be retail, being the next largest customer facing industry. This will occur until every industry is mandated and everyone employed is jabbed. Just saying (not an anti vaxxer).
