‘Scant detail’ about teal MP Monique Ryan being sued by stafferSky News Senior Political Reporter Trudy McIntosh says the details about Kooyong MP Monique Ryan being sued by her staffer Sally Rugg are “quite scant”. “What we can tell you though is that Sally Rugg, the Chief of Staff to Monique Ryan, the member for Kooyong, has filed this legal action in the court,” Ms McIntosh told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “The details of this yet to be made public.” Great stuff. easy govt money if you can get it. make allegations, govt pays up to save on legal fees. sounds like a golden parachute, a sign-off bonus or just blood money. You've gotta be happy with that! I like to see yes is self destruct.

Teal independent Monique Ryan facing legal actionProminent activist and advisor Sally Rugg is taking her boss, teal MP Monique Ryan, to court. The case was filed late last week and it centres around an alleged breach of general protection under the Fair Work Act. The details surrounding the allegations are yet to be made public and it is likely not much will be known until the initial hearing on Friday due to new federal court rules restricting the release of documents before the first hearing. Ms Rugg is known for her work with the activist group change.org, the Kevin Rudd-led push for a Murdoch royal commission and has worked closely with the Greens. She was a chief campaigner for the Climate 200 group before she became the chief of staff for Monique Ryan. Is this story just going to stay on auto renew until you have details? Same story as yesterday I guess Ryan realised Sally 'Jobsworth' Rugg would not be doing unpaid overtime on her first day: 'You want me to do what? Be here for an 8am meeting! My contract says I start at 9am. Travel to Canberra on a Sunday night!? That's double time plus overnight per deim. I cant even'.

‘Sectarian and discriminatory language’ has no place in NSW politics: MinnsNSW Opposition leader Chris Minns says there is no place for ClubsNSW CEO Josh Landis's 'sectarian and discriminatory language' in NSW politics. The SMH today published a comment from Mr Landis who blamed NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet’s conservative faith for wanting to reform gambling. “I frankly haven’t heard anything like this for decades,” Mr Minns said at a media conference on Tuesday morning. “There’s no place for that in NSW politics and we shouldn’t be introducing it.” This is business, not politics. At best ClubsNSW is a lobby group, not a political party. I didn't vote for them, or was given the opportunity at an election. Definitely not, the government ministers have that privilege.
