Which of your favourite Game of Thrones characters are likely to die in the Battle for Winterfell?

Probably safe

Game of Thrones' big battles are usually the penultimate episode of the season, but we've still got a lot to get through once this battle is over. That means plenty of our main players are making it out alive.. Simply put, these two have a lot of plot armour — they've got too much story to deal with once this battle is over to go out now.

I'd be shocked if we don't see one or two fake outs though, or even a noble sacrifice to save one of them from meeting a grisly end.already has experience surviving a castle under siege and after her chat with Dany last week about what happens once the dead are defeated, it looks like she has plans beyond this battle.

This important WHY?

Bye Bye Hound

Everybody.

Most of the predicted deaths are terrible choices here. I don't think as many will die as people think, simply because there's going to have to be another, bigger battle in a few episodes.

Well we'll all know in 2 days time so that was a pointless fucking waste of taxpayers money writing that wasn't it.

The battle deadlier than Gallipoli that many Aussies have forgottenThe horrific struggle for Australian soldiers in France during World War I is both perfectly and devastatingly illustrated by the story of the Battles of Bullecourt, which were dogged by failure, miscommunication and an appalling loss of Australian lives. Gallipoli isn’t remembered for being the bloodiest at all, it’s remembered because it’s when we essentially realised the poms didn’t give a stuff about us and we couldn’t rely on them the same way. Represented a shift from being part of the British army to our own I vaguely remember hearing about this but not in so much detail. I’m shook from just reading that. Hope my great grandad wasn’t involved. He was a light horse so probably not. Pozieres, Fromelles, Polygon Wood,Bullecourt,Hill 60, they where all much more devastating and costly to the Australians, bout time people studied their history.

'The whole dynamic needs to change': Young veterans battle to get pokies out of RSL clubsThe Victorian RSL raises millions through poker machines each year but for some young veterans the social cost of the pokies is too high. More NannyState behaviour. Indeed. We should be channeling these people to the local community centres where they can make social networks, be involved in community projects and development where they can teach skills, all without the flashing lights and sounds of poker machines. The sooner the better.
