Chief Minister Andrew Barr said five cases were under investigation and one case remained in intensive care.Mr Barr says 70 per cent of the capital's population will have had one dose of the coronavirus vaccine by the end of today.

He confirmed the capital's lockdown is expected to end on October 15, after yesterday's announcement it was extended by four weeks. But vaccine passports "won't be required" when restrictions ease and businesses open back up, he said.
