Foreign Editor of the Australian Greg Sheridan says terrorist knife attacks are becoming more common, calling it “very concerning” and proof “terrorism hasn’t gone away”.

4min

Mr Sheridan said the London Bridge attacker, who had a previous terror conviction, is a symbol of the problem faced by the western world. It shows what a “wicked problem from hell the convicted terrorist is”, he said before adding that “there is very little prospect of rehabilitation and the ability to re-offend is as far away as a kitchen knife.

Deport

Lol. Great analysis chief.

When ur mayor employ 900 police to deal with hate and thought crime and you police force is struggling to deal with real crimes time to get rid of your mayor

As long as we have Western hating Muslim communities amongst us hiding these Mohammad loving cowards...we will have terrorism!

Sadiq Khan once said this..so brace yourself folks 🤣

Have all the journalists at sky news been dropped on their heads Serious question

Terrorism has been around since religion started. they called it rebellions, militias, guerrillas & now call it Terrorist.. Swords was used back in the days too. Knife attacks are not more common. Problem is Laws are soft. Laws need to be very hard with capital punishment a must.

Every knows Mulsim immigration from certain countries has been a monumental disaster all across Europe. I have a friend who lives just outside of London and even she admits the city has become a shithole... she refuses to go to the city because it just isn't safe

No shit captain

Yeah, that c¥n+ from Grafton showed how knife attacks are the real problem.

Terrorists have advanced a long way since hijacking planes, flying them into buildings, making them collapse into their own footprint, killing 1000s. They now just use Knife attacks to inflict fear and death. 🤔🤔

I bet the U.K politicians will see this terrorist win, With more draconian anti freedom laws. More camera's and spying and censoring of internet etc. But no end to 'Terrorism'.Ever.

Gun control laws in countries with them proving to the USA gun nuts that gun laws work.... There fixed your headline...

It’s interesting that women are never the good samaritans in these situations.

Complete failure of justice system these days which sees more resources and consideration for criminals than innocent people & public safety. Shame on all those responsible.

Did *anyone* at all actually think that terrorism had 'gone away'?

And where is it going to go? This stuff is here to stay until the end of time. Get used to it.

That rite Sherlock, were not all fools..

London bridge hero says 'any Londoner would do it'A man who helped tackle a knife-wielding terrorist who killed two people near London Bridge said he intervened because it was 'what any Londoner would do' Any London man ... bravo. Heros all. 👏👏👏 Not all Londoners would do this. Some Londoners do what the terrorist did. I think ANY Londoner would do the same or would want to do the same. There are some ppl living in London who aren’t Londoners & would do or support the dead terrorist. Clerics will be loudly using their Scriptures to condemn this yeah? Or was it just mental illness

Australia is 'almost obliged to give protection' to self-proclaimed spy Wang Liqiang | Sky News AustraliaFormer Labor Advisor Darrin Barnett says the government is “almost obliged to give protection” to self-proclaimed spy Wang Liqiang, despite the Daily Telegraph revealing he may have only been engaged in low level work, which would be of little use to Australia’s security agencies.\n\nAccording to senior members of the Australian Intelligence community it is “highly dubious” that Wang Liqiang, who claimed he was a high-level Chinese spy during a 60 Minutes interview, was “major player in the espionage space,” according to Sky News host and Daily Telegraph journalist Sharri Markson.\n\nMr Barnett said despite Wang's claims being seemingly debunked, Australia does have a responsibility to not send him back to China. \n\n“It is concerning if someone is using what is essentially a vexatious claim to become an Australian citizen, but we do have a sense of obligation to look after people and their humanitarian concerns,' he said. \n\nImage: Getty I don't call exposing Australian Chinese citizens trying to become treasonous Australian politicians working for China information of little use. I think the incident is being downplayed because of financial influence by China. Stop selling Australia, stop foriegn investment. Give him protection, Australia needs to stand firm in the values we believe. You can ask me to vow these values when I became a citizen while the leaders are playing with the values. Don’t be hypocrites
