nicolechettle NSWbullied Doesn't help our good Teachers who are unfairly dismissed. They get offered a payout by Dept of Education but cannot get Teaching accreditation renewed. NESA systemic abuse and failure to recognise unfair dismissal.

A managing director or CEO of a major organization should not be able to sue for unfair dismissal. This settlement creates a precedent.

This is taxpayer money, and should not be confidential. We need an anal probe to get to the facts.

How much did she get?

ka-ching

What with Ita's claim that the ABC was is not functioning then then maybe it wasn't an unfair dismissal at all. Ita says PullYourThocksUp abcnews

Amazing what a fat cheque will do. Hopefully ABC will do a better job hiring the next MD.

A poor result to a poor tenure

How funny how ABC provide a total lack of transparency about themselves

Why is the settlement remaining confidential? The public have a right to know how much money has been wasted? Why aren’t ABC talking heads demanding disclosure? ConflictOfInterest auspol

Well done Aunty .... You work out a deal with 'miss google' and The People fund it, so who loses here .. lawyers, ABC excu.. , contracted insider .. ?! G'Day ItaButtrose

What another joke, Kept Private a settlement paid for by the taxpayers of Australia, where is the accountability every payment should be made public.

Why a secret? Isn’t the abc the public broadcaster?

Meh it’s just taxpayer money, why should we have a right to know how it’s spent...

Why aren’t taxpayers (who no doubt are paying the settlements) allowed to know what we’re up for?

Clearing the decks for the new regime.

Jordan Peterson already feels ‘set-up’ by ABC’s Q&AControversial psychologist Jordan Peterson said he’d been “set-up” for Monday night’s Q&A and then the ABC threw him another doozy. No one is outraged. What a ridiculous article. Thanks - Spiff No one is upset. It is the entire point of QandA. They’ve had Julian Assange and his father submit questions, an ex-terrorist, David Hicks, etc. Asking the panellists tough questions and giving people their freedom of speech is what defines QandA. And I suppose has evidence to back up this claim? I suppose they only have to dredge up two viewers to justify a headline of “outraged viewers “.
