jonathanspicer Andy_Sayad 1st debt peak occurred in oil price shock year 2008. QE1-QE3 money printing was the response. It financed the US shale oil boom but oil prices remained high and killed demand. That and shale oil overproduction brought prices down. Is $60 oil too high?

It’s okay people. Donald Trump has got it covered. He just advised he got an email from a Nigerian prince willing to send him a few trillion as soon as he forwards banking details.

SMH is generous, what happen to the other 3 trillion? 22 trillion may be more.....

And we're surprised because?

Too much wars and military adventures world wide . If this was spent on infrastructure, schools, hospitals etc massive dividends.

The Fed's 'logical panic' adds more fuel to the world's debt pileWith global markets in a steep decline six weeks ago, a sharp policy U-turn from the US central bank may stopped the rout, but at what cost? 'Parents caught up in anger': The problems plaguing the Family CourtInsiders say the family law system is sinking under the weight of a backlog of cases, with more than 20,000 still to be heart at the end of 2018. And men always come last There is a reason for that. The family law system is broken. In my experience it’s a haven for judges, barristers & solicitors to drain as much money from these people as they can with little regard for the actual children. Conservative parties around the world have a problem — and women are losing patienceOver the past three decades, women have steadily climbed the ranks of centre-left parties around the world, while stalling in the centre-right parties. In Australia, when Liberals discuss the problem, one name keeps coming up. Women don’t get a free pass to everything they want if their character is questionable. Maybe the women have to be respected and admired before they get to be in power. This has nothing to do with “conservative” for goodness sake. This also reveals your expectations of grandeur purely on the basis of you being a woman. And when those expectations are not met, you dream up sexism or glass ceilings, perhaps even misogyny, as did Julia Gillard. A nicely disguised Labor puff piece, 3 months out from a federal election. How very ABC.

Trump shamelessly used Jewish Americans in State of the Union addressWhile slurring refugees as a dangerous threat, the US President sought to shield himself from charges of racism by invoking a Jewish tragedy. Another one sided opinionated trash by The Age. Not even CNN or NBC claim that to be the case, yet The Age who isnt even an american media always trying to smear other country's leader. This opinion piece says a lot about the Age’s bias. CJ Werleman completely misrepresents trump’s speech here owing to a severe case of TDS. Plenty of good sound bites for the time poor and ignorant though. What a ridiculous headline! His SOTU was AMAZING! Uplifting, positive! His own family is Jewish so this is a crazy!
