EstherHjHan michaeldaleyMP Urban Taskforce's Chris Johnson Urban_Taskforce doesn't like 'outdated' LEPs because he thinks they make him jobless. If he were really independent his job would be to REDUCE Sydney's oil and energy consumption. You can't do this by growing Sydney with highrises

EstherHjHan michaeldaleyMP The root cause for overdevelopment is the very acceptance of a growing Sydney - mainly engineered by high overseas migration for developer profits. The Greater Sydney Commission wants an 8 million Sydney - unsustainable - and can't work together with Councils

EstherHjHan We need better planning to STOP over-development. VoteSustainable Vote for SustainableAustralia nswpol auspol nswvotes

EstherHjHan AS MONACO SAID.... NI ER'S... NO MORE... 😉

Solar panels to be installed on NSW homes if Labor wins state election | Sky News AustraliaLabor has pledged to install rooftop solar panels on half a million homes across New South Wales if it wins the upcoming March state election.\n\nThe program would see households with a combined income of $180,000 or less qualify for a rebate.\n\nIt is hoped the program will add solar power to an additional million homes over the next ten years and could save the average household up to $1000 annually.\n NSWLabor Isn't this up to the homeowner's digression? I bet you the way they 'promise' this is by inflating the energy costs yet again by 20%. Which then makes solar look way more attractive. They should hit up PowerLedger_io to get it done though. 'Dire consequences': Court's mine rejection sets a climate precedentNSW Labor says a decision by the Land and Environment Court to factor in the impacts of climate change when considering whether to approve a coal mine was 'potentially extremely important' for future planning. I do not get it. All of the scientists say we still need coal for now. Germany has been hailed as heroic for promising to close all coal generators by 2038. The coal to run these generators has to come from somewhere, why not Australia? Coal is cheap, Stations are cheap and getting cleaner, allowing more money to be spent on the people and services rather than power subsidies. Sadly, chasing carbon ghosts sounds nice, but ultimately expensive and ineffective (wrt global warming).

Labor wants two more weeks to deal with banking falloutScott Morrison admits the banking royal commission should have been held earlier but the coalition is refusing to bring parliament back for extra weeks to fix financial laws. Yep when billshortenmp was minister for finance for 6 years under Dudd and Gillard would have been a great time given Banks around the world were being investigated with the GFC at the time but they didn’t need the votes by then unionpuppets classwarfare And how is this his fault? 🤦‍♂️ He is right, it should have been held earlier BY THE LABOR GOVERNMENT! Why did they not do it - the same banking culture existed during their term in office. Good old flip flop Shorten and the arrogant Bowen continue the blame game because they have selective short memories?
