The shambles being observed in Victoria and the stresses and strains of the pandemic are currently testing tempers in politics across the country says Sky News host Chris Kenny.

Mr Kenny referred to criticism delivered by Treasurer Josh Frydenberg against the Victorian government's handling of hotel quarantine in the state. "As a Victorian, I feel so devastated about what has transpired in my state. It should never have got to this," Mr Frydenberg said on Friday.

“Now he's not attacking Daniel Andrews there, he's just showing frustration and his passion … fair enough, good on him,” Mr Kenny said. Mr Kenny also said recent remarks made by the New South Wales Health Minister Brad Hazzard in state parliament, levelled against NSW Opposition Leader Jodi McKay were “inexcusable”. He said Mr Hazzard’s behavior was “just not good enough” after the Health Minister verbally attacked Ms McKay during Question Time on Thursday over the issue of mask wearing.

Where are 11M $ worth of guards working?

Andrews has been clear and transparent throughout the whole process. Very calm. This is a pandemic which we are still learning about and can cause spikes anywhere-as we know. Thank GOD he didn’t do anything idiotic....like let 100s of infected passengers off a cruise ship

No wonder foxtel is getting a hit with SkyNews shit like this

Why is sky news such a depressing media network? No wonder everyone that works there looks so sad & upset & just repeat negative comments etc.... What a sad disgusting place it would be to work..😜🤪😛😷

FatherBob How dare you? How dare you use a photo of IStandWithDan? How dare you undermine his exemplary leadership qualities in this crisis. When the story is about Hazzard's bullying behaviour. HowDareYou

ThisIsNotJournalism

the only clusterfuck is newscorp. Newscorp is undermining the entire fucking pandemic response in Victoria just to try to score political points, and it's not working, Dan's stronger than ever.

No wonder Newscorp keeps losing billions. Shit journalists amateur hour!

Chris Kenny if he had to face real life...

If the PM would have done his job we would not need people like Dan to step up.

My thoughts on CK...

Chris Kenny should be tested for canine distemper. Hope its not a STD.

You lot are filthy.

Oh just piss off. Everyone is well aware of the political agenda being played out here. And it won't work.

How much did Foxtel lose again?

AGED CARE WHERE MANY CASES IN VICTORIA CAME FROM IS REGULATORY RESPONSIBILITY & JURISDICTION OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. NO STAFF SCREENING STRATEGIES OR OTHER HEALTH STRATEGY PROVISIONS FOR AGED CARE CENTRES. MORRISON & FEDERAL AGED CARE MINISTER RICHARD COLBECK ARE RESPONSIBLE.

If we could get rid of Andrews and his ignorant but arrogant attitude to thinking he his capable of running a group of pollies or a crisis, we might have a chance of people being able to live far more normal lives ,and beat the virus, but we need Andrews gone.

Reme dickhead Dan saying that he would make sure the virus would not get to regional nursing homes.. it's in Bendigo and Shepparton... Fuck this guy.. the elderly are the ones we need to protect...

Typical shite from Murdoch’s minions

And what the actual FARK would Chris Kenny know about anything? About as relevant as Allan Jones and Kredlin

IStandWithDan

Wasn't PeterDutton_MP given the responsibility of keeping COVID from breaching our borders? Where's the scathing attacks against him? Eh? You guys are useless.

This crap is why I cannot watch Sky.

Can us Victorians please get a night off from the snipping from Kenny, bolt, dean, panini,Murray.jones eat al. Please Please Please with sugar on top!

By not being able to manage appropriately, he has caused a State of Panic. Just likened to wartime scenario at the expense of Victorians in every way. 1st lockdown caused ppl fight over toilet rolls, he still does not understand the potential impact of what he has just done!!

VICTORIANS CAN THANK LIBERAL PARTY PROPAGANDA SKY NEWS FOR ENCOURAGING THESE ANTI MASK NUTTER PROTESTS.

But Dan Andrews stay calm and measured. The Liberals can't handle the heat

20,000 Victorians are already getting the hell out of the banana Republic of Victoria. They clearly understand that Dan Andrews lockdowns are never gonna stop. He’s going to keep doing them until all the businesses are destroyed and the suicide rate is the real pandemic.

Dan cannot manage under pressure, so he slams it with a declaration of disaster and invoked a curfew. Basically he panicked & sent a streak of panic across the State. I know of people who are so intimidated they almost stopped living. Create a State of living dead is not the way

I find it a bit weird Chris. Your organisation's revenues are going over a cliff ...yet you and the other muppets carry on with the same old anti-Left/ABC/Labor crap night after night and people obviously don't want to buy that shit. On what planet is that a good business model?

You and your so called journalists are a disgrace Sky News Please just go away and leave us all alone

Kenny is politically themed entertainment filler sandwiched between advertising content sold by Sky.

FatherBob Is that true, or did a dog tell him?

FatherBob How many Dan supporters are public service workers here on Twitter?

FatherBob I heard Chris Kenny has been eaten by bats. I heard it on SkyAfterDark1 .

FatherBob Why are you retweeting these twits Bob?

It’s the authoritarians that are enjoying the power. It will be up to voters to fix it next time.

FatherBob

Is it because the victorian Premier is showing what a waste of space the PM actually is, showing leadership and taking responsibility for decisions, not running off and hiding and then blaming the wife and kids?

Nope. Only Newscorp is testing tempers... No one else. Oh by the way Sky IStandWithDan

I dont see it all i see is a bunch of bureaucrats being paid off by big pharma and gates to push a globalist ideology

Yep and you’re not helping at all, so you’re part of the problem too

Brad Hazzard needs to be sacked. He’s lost all credibility

So do us all a favour and all resign. Time for realistic, truthful leaders

And causing mass suicides of civilians. More importantly.

You Murdoch's are not helping either. In fact, you are leading the charge for bad behaviour. And its getting noticed. 527 dislikes and 346 likes last night. Now 1,100👎 and only 596👍 Disgusting drivel. Every damn day.

Would love to join a peaceful protest against Dan Andrews.

Is your News Limited?

Fake News Kenny

Are they? Are they really...? Or are reporters from a certain stable just increasingly exasperated that they haven't yet been able to get a rise from a team doing the very best that they can under trying circumstances....?

And so says the pet vet!

Cue the dumbest of the dumb in our society defending killer Dan Andrews

If there was an LNP premier in Vic in the same situation would there be the same diatribe coming from the after dark dungeon

Accountability in modern politics 'questionable' if 'Andrews remains' in his position | Sky News AustraliaPolitical consultant Jim Middleton has questioned the meaning of “accountability” in “modern politics” as Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews remains in his position of authority after claiming to be accountable for errors in the hotel quarantine system. \n\nThe Premier vowed he would bear responsibility for any mistakes that were identified in investigating Melbourne’s hotel quarantine bungle which sparked a severe uptick in the state’s coronavirus caseload. \n\n“We know mistakes were made, if he’s accountable, to put it bluntly, why is [Andrews] still there,” Mr Middleton told Sky News. \n\n“We’ve seen ministers in the Victorian government go for issues like branch stacking but I don’t recall ministers across Australia being dismissed or standing down for matters of substance.” \n\n“The idea of having a standard ministerial office as we understood it under the Westminster system has disappeared.”\n\nHe said he expected the question of responsibility for mistakes made would be focused on about five ministers in the Andrews government.\n\n“But in fact all the real decisions were being made or should have been made out of the Premier’s office,” he said. \n\nImage: Getty \n\n DanielAndrewsMP Exactly right, if he's 'accountable' then why is he still in his job? This is just like 'the buck stops with me' until his own party steals money to win an election, then suddenly 'it's not my fault!' ArrestDictatorDan DanielAndrewsMP Ruby Dutton?
