In a move designed to personalise tax cuts that will not be in place for at least five years, Treasurer Josh Frydenberg will on Tuesday release new Treasury figures that show front-line workers how they stand to benefit.

The Coalition says teachers, nurses, tradespeople and police officers will be up to $4000-a-year better off by the middle of the next decade, as an escalating tax cut battle takes centre stage in its election campaigning.

By 2024-25, a public school classroom teacher in NSW is expected to start on $69,603 a year, while a teacher in Victoria is expected to begin their career on $77,223. They will be between $600 and $805 a-year-better off under the Coalition's plan compared to Labor. The flatter tax rate means the further up the ladder a teacher or nurse goes, the larger tax cut they will receive. Lead teachers are projected to earn up to $127,123 and receive a tax cut of $4800 a year by 2024.

Treasury did not model the tax cuts until 2022, when independent analysis by the National Centre For Social And Economic Modelling shows workers earning up to $80,000 a year would receive the same treatment under Labor and the Coalition.said it was prepared to hand out further tax cuts if the budget could afford itCostings by the Parliamentary Budget Office show by 2029-30, the annual cost of stage two and stage three of the Coalition's tax cuts will reach $50 billion.

Great Tax savings IN 5 YEARS. Time to STOP this Corrupt Advertising

If you earn $140,000 you might have something to look forward to-if it eventuates. For those below, the opportunity cost will be $200 against $billions of lost health, environmental & education benefits. Simple equation. Far too high a price to pay.

It's still 5 yrs JoshFrydenberg Anything could & will happen especially as runaway Climate Change continues to destabilize the planet & world economics along with it. We're already seeing it so deal with that, not some magic pudding that means nothing to the general population

will Treasury own these calculations?

Tax the rich more to help the middle class, says OECDHigher tax rates for the wealthy could help finance reductions in the tax burden of lower-to-middle-income households, says a new OECD report. Or tax the middle class less. 'the rich' is subjective. The reality of socialism is the tax burden rests on the middle class (typically small business owning Australian's). Both major parties see small business owners as nothing more than a milking cow. Or spendless on the crap they shouldn't fund.
